“To enhance the holiday season for families in need and foster good will throughout Oswego County”

There’s nothing like a child’s joy on Christmas morning as they discover their presents under the tree. It’s an experience that many remember for a lifetime.

The Oswego County Children’s Fund, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) organization whose purpose is to provide Christmas toys and gifts to needy children in Oswego County. Our Board of Directors is comprised of representatives from Social Services, SUNY Oswego, United Way and Nelson Law Office.

We receive much appreciated support from local businesses, churches, schools, community organizations and volunteers.

Each year, a Toy Giveaway event is held on the SUNY Oswego campus where parents may come and pick out Christmas gifts for their children. This year our event will be held on Sunday, December 16th at the Swetman Gym.

Families must be pre-registered in order to take part in this event. Parents may apply for their children who are newborn through 16 years old.
Once registered and approved, the applicant will receive an email with a specific time to come pick up gifts. The maximum number of accepted applicants is based on gift availability each year.

The Children’s Fund accepts monetary donations for the purchase of toys as well as toy/gift donations.

If you are interested in volunteering for our Toy Giveaway, you may sign up on our Volunteer page. We need volunteers for the week before the Giveaway to help sort toys and set up and on the Giveaway day. If you have any questions, please email us at childrensfund2015@gmail.com.

Thank you for your support and Happy Holidays!!!
